Wulian County Stone Industry Green and Low-Carbon High-Quality Development Mobilization Conference Held​​ To thoroughly implement the county Party committee and government's requirements for the "Key Work Breakthrough Year" campaign and advance the "Understanding the Situation, Clarifying Responsibilities, and Achieving Breakthroughs" study, discussion, and implementation activities, efforts will be concentrated on breaking through the transformation and upgrading of the stone industry, sounding the charge for high-quality development.                                                                                       

On February 19, the Wulian County Stone Industry Green and Low-Carbon High-Quality Development Mobilization Conference was held in the video conference room on the second floor of the Water Services Building. Liu Zhaoyu, member of the Standing Committee of the Wulian County Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting emphasized the need to clearly recognize the current situation and further strengthen confidence and determination in the development of Wulian's stone industry. A problem-oriented approach must be adopted to quickly address shortcomings and strive to catch up. The significant advantages of the stone industry's development should be carefully analyzed to accelerate breakthroughs, seize development opportunities, achieve substantial progress, consolidate and enhance Wulian stone's industry position, and realize industrial upgrading. The meeting stressed the importance of adhering to a bottom-line mindset and safeguarding all bottom lines to lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the stone industry. Safety production, environmental protection, and all other bottom lines must be upheld without compromise. The concept of "safety" must always be kept in mind and implemented in practice, continuously improving the safety awareness, responsibility, and capabilities of all personnel. Legal and regulatory bottom lines must also be strictly observed, with self-discipline strengthened, undesirable practices abandoned, and a joint effort made to maintain a healthy industrial development order. The meeting called for close collaboration between the government and enterprises to pool strength for the high-quality development of the stone industry. The principle of "government building the stage and enterprises performing" should be consistently upheld, with active efforts to provide services for enterprise development, striving for a win-win situation among the government, enterprises, and society. The pace of industrial transformation and upgrading must be accelerated, and the Wulian stone brand should be fully promoted.
